Help Us Make History

Thanks to the generosity of our friends and supporters, we are in an exciting phase of fundraising and development for a brand new building on the campus of the Elmira Civil War Prison Camp.

This Heritage Center will serve as the entry point for tourists, school groups, conference guests, and history buffs alike. It will safely store and display important records and relics, and will provide space for research, meetings, lectures, and more.

Leaving the Heritage Center, guests will venture immediately toward a section of our replica guard fence and around into the “camp” itself.

Thank you for your support – we know we cannot do it without you!
